Welsh Onion "Krasavets" - Allium fistulosum L.
Early maturing (from germination to technical maturity 25-30 days) variety for salad use. Leaves are hollow, green, 30-35 cm high, 1 cm in diameter, tender, and juicy. Stem-like false bulb is purple-red in color. Taste is semi-pungent.
Demanding to soil fertility, moisture-loving, responsive to fertilizers.
Variety value: high winter hardiness, first vitamin greens in spring. Contains vitamins C (more than in bulb onions), B1, B2, D, phytoncides, proteins, and minerals.
